On Saturday, December 16, there was a SPECIAL TOY DRIVE EVENT at the CLARKSDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT on 221 DESOTO AVE, CLARKSDALE, MS, sponsored by the 4-K Club LLC. The 4-K Club, LLC., founded by Clarksdaleâs own Kyra Robinson, is a non-profit organization created to serve less fortunate junior and senior high school students, college students, and graduate school students by giving them the resources needed to research and secure an internship in the area they choose, while providing food, shelter, and transportation for the entire duration of their internship.
4-K Club LLC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH TERRANCE METCALF’S P5 MARKETING AND RECRUITING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CLUB INC., will PRESENT its 1st Annual Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway. The giveaway will be held at THE GAZEBO OUTSIDE THE CLARKSDALE CIVIC AUDITORIUM in CLARKSDALE, MS, on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2023, at 10 AM ~ UNTIL EVERY TOY FINDS A NEW HOME! Terrance Metcalf will also have special giveaways and a lot of surprises for the community.
We also had plushies donated by Dr. Bryant Edwards, an anesthesiologist from the Mississippi Delta who owns a company called DinoMart, DinoFam NFT Collections, and a nonprofit organization called DinoFam Foundation. This foundation supplies dinosaur plushies to kids after surgery in a hospital, when they fly to another specialty hospital and may feel lonely. His organization also gives plushies to kids who are pulled by police from foster care, who may leave with nothing but the clothes on their back.
